The first thing that I found interesting was overconfidence because a lot of people these days think that they can do things that they cant or they will have a cocky attitude thinking that they know everything and they can do everything perfect. I have been like this before but I don't get to over my head if I don't know how to do something, I will just stay humble.
The second thing that I found very interesting was how people understand intuition. The reason why this is very interesting is because people will always have their opinion on something that has happened in the past. For example, on 9/11 when those airplanes were hijacked and all those people died a lot of people stopped flying and started driving every where because of the terrible thing that happend that day with those airplanes. They didn't want to take the chance of that happening to them.
The last thing that i found interesting was our grammer. I found this pretty cool because everyone needs to communicate in some way to one another and I found it interesting that their are many different launguges in the world that speak differently or they sound different from English but they all mean the same thing or have the same basic principles as English.

I found the language part very interesting as well! It made me wonder a silly question...how many languages can the smartest person learn and retain? While every language has words or signs that mean the same thing, we could never learn them all.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the part about 9/11. I've heard people talking about how terrible it was (which it Definitely* was) and how they don't want to risk their lives in an airplane, so they might as well just drive. This is understandable, but also kind of silly, because some results show that you are more likely to die of something much more common, (car accident) than actually being on a plane when a terrorist attack is taking place. I guess it's just one of those things that you have to think about, because either way there is a risk!
ReplyDeleteI like the part about overconfidence, you are really humble.
